Hotels and motels can be quite expensive depending on what facilities and comfort rating they have. On average room rates in Toronto can go from $75 to $170 CAN a night and does not include meals. At FIS our room rates per night range from $23.00 to $26.00 CAN and include meals. Furthermore, if staying at a hotel or large motel, you might find it a bit lonely and impersonal, as you won't have many opportunities to meet and talk with fellow Canadians.
